Relationships—whether dating or long-term partnerships—often put us in emotional situations that we ourselves hardly understand. Attachment theory provides exciting answers to these questions: it describes four typical attachment styles that influence our behavior in relationships – sometimes unconsciously, but profoundly.

In this lecture with Denis Hasani (marriage, family, and life counselor), you will learn how attachment styles develop, how they shape our relationships, and how we can learn to deal with closeness and distance more consciously and effectively.
