Medizinische Rundreise - Positiv alt werden

Medizinische Rundreise Positiv Alt werden

Thanks to modern medical advances and effective treatments, people living with HIV now have a significantly higher life expectancy. However, this also raises the question of what long-term effects this entails: Which consequences are attributable to the HIV infection itself, which to long-term treatment, and which to the natural aging process?

We will also examine how specific behaviors and a healthy lifestyle can support positive and as healthy an aging process as possible.

What is this about?

Aging & Aging Processes

  • What does aging mean?
  • Basic information on aging with and without HIV infection
  • Which organ systems are particularly affected in aging HIV-positive individuals?
  • What impact does HIV infection and treatment have on the aging process?

  • Can aging processes be positively influenced by one’s own behavior?
  • Topics: Consumption of stimulants, exercise, nutrition, relaxation, dietary supplements, preventive medical care, social environment
